And since we've had quite the week with Kris' birthday, his grandmother dying and then John Stephen's birthday and her funeral. We didn't get to have the party we had planned for him today, but Mommy and Daddy went ahead and celebrated with him and he had his first taste of cupcake. We'll have his party next week and let him celebrate again with the rest of the family up here.

He wasn't sure what to make of the cupcake at first...
but then he dove right in.
He decided to share with Mommy.
Not too big of a mess to clean up. He had a bath, played some more and then laid down and took a nap with Mommy.
